Having years of experience in data communications, he has been able to provide seamless integration with multiple platforms and different tiers of data communications. Performing regular maintenance, installments, configuration and troubleshooting of various networking equipment such as: Foundry Big Iron switches, Cisco 7500 and Cisco 10000 series routers, Cisco AS5300 access servers, Cisco Catalyst switches, Juniper OS (JunOS), Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris, Redback OC12/DS3 multiplexers, Lucent ATM switches and other various networking/telephony equipment. In addition, his expertise spans into technologies including: TCP/IP (v4), SMB, NetBIOS, IPSec, GRE and L2TP tunnels, VPNs, OSPF, RIP, BGP, switching, routing, bridging, VLANs, Ethernet (10/100/1000, copper/fiber), OC3, OC12, OC48, DS1, DS3, ISDN, frame relay and lastly is fluent in the following scripting languages: ASP, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, Perl, Python, Ruby, TCL, Bourne Shell. Matt Elsberry - Owner / Systems engineer ![]() Matt is the owner of South Georgia ITS. Having 11 years in the information technology field, Matt started his first business in 2005, named Total I.T. Solutions. Continuing that business for 5 yeas, he decided it was time for a name change as well as the scope of his clientele from law enforcement to small and medium businesses. With background in data and voice communications, Matt is able to sew together the gap between computer and phone technologies. Graduating from the Cisco networking academy, Matt brings experience in the Cisco IOS as well as technology backgrounds in: 3Com VoIP, Asterisk* VoIP, Nortel, Cisco, HP ProCurve line, APC, and SonicWall equipment. His knowledge extends further into the following protocols: TCP/IP (v4), NetBIOS, IPSec, L2TP tunnels, VPNs, OSPF, RIP, BGP, switching, routing, bridging, VLANs, Ethernet (10/100/1000, copper/fiber) and finally programming languages such as: ASP, PHP, HTML, ActionScript, graphical design and multiple PC platforms like Windows up to 7 (64bit) including Windows Server technologies and Debian/Ubuntu Linux OS. |
